GMare doesn't use system memory?

I've got 20GB of system memory, yet when importing an 12000x12000 image to create a 3000 tile square map, GMare would rather give me an 'out of memory error'? How much memory do you need for each tile, GMare? Maybe publish those statistics up front.

I've had to reduce my RPG's overworld map from 3000 tiles square to 512 tiles square to even get GMare to stop crashing, and to 32 tiles square to actually get it to successfully import to GameMaker, which it didn't even do right because it created an empty room. Thankfully though, now that it's the size of a standard icon, I can just draw it in GameMaker by hand. I've now got the smallest RPG in the known universe. Maybe someone could tell me what I'm doing wrong? Or is "Using GMare" what I'm doing wrong?

This is a limitation of the .net framework for 32 bit applications. The memory reserved for a typical application is 4gb. In the future this will be changed to 64 bit.
